About the Equines
Shelters

This site recommends a 3 sided shelter large enough to allow  equine(s) to stand comfortably on all 4 legs and at their normal hieght. At minimum  horses should have access to this type of shelter.

In addition the shelter must be made sound with no movable objects or protrusions.

These shelters must have adaquate drainage, clean and free of debris or parasitic infestation.

Extreme weather, wet, cold, ice, snow, sun, heat can be deadly to an equine if left without proper protection, even for healthy horses
